Well, if you can recognize this woman... a cookie to you. I did my very best to make it look like the real photo... before I got bored with the flowers on her dress and decided to call it a night with her profile.

OMG, I'm so proud of this, I haven't tried to do a photo-recreation before, and, while it does look pretty pale on the computer, I tell you what, I'm gonna mail this to my dad, because I FORGOT TO CALL HIM for Father's Day, and I do believe he'd like this.....

I forgot it was EVEN Father's day, so when my honey called Sunday, I didn't even tell him. Oh well.

Drew this in my cheap little Color 'n' Color sketch book with my cheap little Bic clicky .7 mm and one cheap little Q-Tip.

About four hours of nit picking before I realized I didn't have to do all the barely-touching-the-paper shading, I could just lightly scribble a bit, then smudge it around with the Q-Tip.

Q-Tips are a miracle. If I can get a better scan, I'll repost.

BTW, this is who we named our firstborn after, after months of arguing of names, we finally agreed on this woman's name.
